Pine Belt Chevrolet provides Certified Service for Chevrolet cars, trucks, and SUVs throughout Ocean County, Monmouth County, and the Jersey Shore. Our Certified Service technicians work on Chevrolet vehicles every day — from Silverado trucks and Tahoe SUVs to Equinox crossovers and Corvettes — using GM Genuine Parts and ACDelco components specified for each model.
Whether your Chevrolet is due for an oil change, tire rotation, brake service, or a more involved repair, schedule online or contact our service department directly.
Pine Belt Chevrolet handles the full range of maintenance and repair needs for your vehicle:
Consistent maintenance catches normal wear before it becomes a larger repair.

Chevrolet recommends dexos®1 Full Synthetic oil for most current models. Pine Belt Chevrolet offers oil changes using both ACDelco GM OE dexos®1 Full Synthetic and Mobil 1® Full Synthetic, in 6-quart and 8-quart variants to match your engine’s requirements.
Note: 8-quart oil changes may be required on 2021–2024 6.2L engines. Diesel engines and Corvettes have separate service specifications — confirm with our service advisors.
Most current Chevrolet vehicles are equipped with the engine Oil Life System (OLS), which monitors actual engine conditions to determine when an oil change is needed. Our technicians reset the OLS after every oil change and can explain what the system is telling you if you have questions.
Not sure when your Chevrolet is due for service? Contact our service department and we’ll look it up for you.
Pine Belt Chevrolet performs tire rotation, tire installation, and wheel alignment service. Every oil change package includes tire rotation and a brake system inspection.
Tires should be replaced when tread wear indicators — located in the tread grooves — are level with the outer tread surface, which occurs at 2/32 of an inch of remaining tread. GM also recommends replacing tires, including the spare, after six years regardless of tread wear. Rubber ages over time due to temperature, loading conditions, and inflation variations.
To find the age of a tire, check the last four digits of the DOT Tire Identification Number on the tire sidewall — the first two digits indicate the week, and the last two indicate the year of manufacture.
Most current Chevrolet vehicles are equipped with TPMS, which alerts the driver when one or more tires are 25% or more below the manufacturer’s recommended cold inflation pressure. If the TPMS light comes on solid, check and adjust all tire pressures. If it blinks for more than one minute and stays solid, diagnostic service is needed.
TPMS sensor batteries can last up to 10 years; when the battery fails, the sensor requires replacement.
Provide a written estimate, ad, or internet quote from a competing tire retailer within 100 miles at the time of purchase and we will match the price. Find a better eligible price within 30 days of purchase and we will refund the difference.
Eligible brands include BFGoodrich, Bridgestone, Continental, Cooper, Firestone, General, Goodyear, Hankook, Kelly, Michelin, Pirelli, and Uniroyal. See dealer for complete terms.
Free alignment checks are also available — ask your service advisor.
Brake and battery performance directly affect your Chevrolet’s safety and reliability. Pine Belt Chevrolet inspects both during every multi-point inspection and services them when needed.
Chevrolet recommends brake inspection at least every 7,500 miles. Warning signs that service is needed include chirping, squealing, whistling, grinding, shaking when stopping, and pedal pulsation.
Some Chevrolet vehicles also feature Brake Wear Indicators or a Brake Pad Life Monitor using front and rear thickness sensors to estimate remaining brake pad life.
Brake service at Pine Belt Chevrolet covers calipers, pads, rotors, shoes, and hoses — all components that require inspection and eventual replacement over the life of the vehicle. Replacement parts are ACDelco Gold or GM Genuine Parts.
ACDelco Gold and GM Genuine Parts front brake pads carry a 24-month/unlimited-mile warranty. Rotor replacement is recommended when the rotor is within 1mm of discard thickness.
Battery failure is one of the leading causes of vehicle breakdowns. Pine Belt Chevrolet offers a free battery test on most GM vehicles to help identify issues before they leave you stranded.
ACDelco replacement batteries are available in multiple variants with free-replacement limited warranties of 30, 36, or 42 months depending on the battery selected.
Note: Free battery testing excludes hybrid and electric vehicle batteries and other select vehicles.
If brake or battery service is needed, we will tell you clearly what we found and let you decide how to proceed.
Every Pine Belt Chevrolet service visit includes a complimentary multi-point inspection performed by our Certified Service technicians. Here is what we check:
For vehicles with the GM Oil Life System, a technician inspects your remaining oil life percentage and determines if your vehicle needs a change.
Tires are assessed for proper alignment, balance, and condition to help ensure optimum performance and safety.
A visual inspection of your windshield checks for cracks or chips, plus front and rear wiper operation and condition.
Brake reservoir, windshield washer fluid, and other vehicle fluids are checked to help ensure smooth operation.
Full inspection of the brake system including lines, hoses, and the parking brake, plus front and rear lining measurements.
A quick test and visual inspection determines battery health, power levels, and terminal connections.
For equipped vehicles, a brief diagnostic test confirms your OnStar system connection is active.
Critical systems and components are checked for visible leaks or damage.
You leave knowing the full condition of your vehicle — not just the item you came in for.

Chevrolet vehicles are engineered to work with specific parts and fluids. Pine Belt Chevrolet uses GM Genuine Parts and ACDelco components — the two parts lines specified by General Motors for Chevrolet vehicles.
ACDelco is available in Gold and Silver tiers, each with its own warranty coverage:
When replacement parts are needed, using the components GM specifies for your vehicle helps maintain the performance and reliability it was built to deliver.
The Pine Belt Chevrolet body shop and collision center offers repairs if your vehicle gets into an accident. Services include:
The body shop works directly with insurance companies and can assist with claim settlement. A complimentary outbound shuttle service is available — contact us for hours and coverage area.

Pine Belt Chevrolet handles the full range of Chevrolet maintenance and repair — oil and filter changes, tire rotation and replacement, wheel alignment, brake pad and rotor service, battery testing and replacement, cabin and engine air filter replacement, transmission service, fluid inspections, vehicle diagnostics, and all manufacturer-recommended maintenance intervals. A body shop and collision center is on site for body and collision repair.
Pine Belt Chevrolet uses GM-specified oils including ACDelco GM OE dexos®1 Full Synthetic and Mobil 1® Full Synthetic. For older vehicles or those not requiring full synthetic, ACDelco Gold Conventional is also available. Our Certified Service advisors confirm the correct oil type, grade, and quantity for your specific model and year.
The GM Oil Life System (OLS) monitors actual engine conditions — temperature, RPM, and load — to calculate when an oil change is needed. It has replaced fixed mileage intervals for most current Chevrolet vehicles. Our technicians reset the OLS after every oil change. If your OLS light is on, contact our service department.
Every service visit includes a free inspection covering remaining engine oil life, tire wear, wiper blades and glass condition, fluid levels, brake system including lines and lining measurements, battery condition and connections, OnStar subscription status for equipped vehicles, and additional systems check for leaks or damage.
GM Genuine Parts and ACDelco components — the two parts lines specified by General Motors. ACDelco is available in Gold and Silver tiers with different warranty coverage. ACDelco Gold front brake pads carry a 24-month/unlimited-mile warranty. ACDelco Gold batteries carry free-replacement limited warranties of 30, 36, or 42 months depending on the variant.
Chirping, squealing, whistling, grinding, shaking when stopping, and pedal pulsation are all signs brake service is needed. Some Chevrolet vehicles also have Brake Wear Indicators or a Brake Pad Life Monitor that will alert you. Chevrolet recommends brake inspection at least every 7,500 miles regardless of whether warning signs are present.
Replace tires when tread wear indicators are flush with the outer tread surface — at 2/32 of an inch remaining. GM also recommends replacing tires after six years regardless of tread wear, as rubber ages over time. Check the DOT Tire Identification Number on the sidewall to find your tire’s manufacture date.
The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) light illuminates solid when one or more tires are 25% or more below the recommended cold inflation pressure — check and adjust all four tires. If the light blinks for more than one minute and then stays solid, diagnostic service is needed. TPMS sensor batteries last up to 10 years; sensor replacement is required when the battery fails.
