Pine Belt Cars was founded by Leon Sickel in 1937 and has grown into one of the most trusted and recognized car dealership groups in New Jersey. Our family-owned and operated business is based in Lakewood, NJ, and proudly represents some of the most respected automotive brands, including Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Subaru, and Mazda.

Our President and CEO, David Sickel, is a lifelong Lakewood resident and Franklin & Marshall College graduate. After attending the General Motors Institute in Detroit and serving in the U.S. Naval Reserve, he joined the family business in 1970. By 1975, David took the reins from his father, building Pine Belt into a regional automotive leader.

Now entering its third generation, David’s son Rob Sickel serves as Dealer Principal. A University of Miami graduate, Rob gained hands-on experience across all departments—sales, service, parts, finance, and pre-owned vehicles—to continue the legacy his grandfather began.
